Wolf Administration Issues Statement on CHIP Reauthorization

first_img January 23, 2018 Healthcare,  Press Release,  Public Health Harrisburg, PA – Governor Tom Wolf and Department of Human Services Acting Secretary Teresa Miller released the following statement on Congress passing funding reauthorization for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for the next six years:“I am relieved Congress has finally reauthorized this critical program after months of uncertainty for the Pennsylvania families who access health care for their children through CHIP,Governor Wolf said. “I am thankful to those in Congress who have made CHIP reauthorization a priority.“CHIP provides high-quality health insurance for over 180,000 children across the commonwealth.
